# Xml & flash : select a single string from xml

Hi, don’t know if the title is correct but here is my “wish”.

I’ve taken the exellent tutorial from the xml portfolio by senocular.  
now i’ was trying to make some additions.

i have a small background on working with xml but i ran into some problems here.

i have a few questions on the attached flash 8 fla.

1. is it possible to show up only the tags for lets say “print”; like a bit of sorting

2. how do i show up the number of generated thumbnails? fe. thumbs = 3

3. as it is right now, i’ve managed to attach a mc for my albumnames, but i can’t set the appropriate name for it. it only gives the last albumname.  
and how do i say then that it only can show those resp. images + texts  
fe. when pressing albumname “my name” it only shows the info for that.  
cuz now i only can press the last button generated.

i don’t know by far what is possible, i am just experimenting but i honestly don’t have the right thinking steps for it atm i feel.

is there someone out here that can guide a bit?  
appologies for my weird english, it’s hard to explain it.
