Ok,

I’m loading data from an xml file.
Anything loaded from it is a string.

Later, I want to be able to do some maths, say:

aBetterNumber = xmlLoadedVar + aNumber;

aBetterNumber just turns out to be the two variables concatinated together.

Any thoughts?
