Just a little bit of touch…

Those code make it stops at the last image and the controll button appera, but when I click the play button the slideshow cannot be start again. Here’s play button onRelease :

play\_btn.onRelease = function() {
slide = 0;
nextImage();
};

I tried to make the slide=1; It won’t help…

Thanks

It should be slide =1 in the play\_btn onrelease, but we have to reset p again.
Add

```auto
p=0;
```

in the enableControl() function.

I’m just learning actionscript, but I’m trying to integrate this fading code with the [XML + tumb-scroll](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm) code. I’ve enlarged the image size and I’ve put the thumb-scroller navigation so that its floating over the top of the main image. This works fine with the “adding thumbnail” code (linked above), but when I attempt to work this crossfade code into the mix, the main image suddenly jumps in front of the thumb-scroller so that I can’t navigate…

is there any way to set the depth on the duplicated movie clips so that they sit under other layers?

hope this makes sense…

Swap the the depth of the thumbnail\_mc

```auto
thumbnail_mc.swapDepths(11111);
```

Thanks!
This does bring the thumbnail bar to the top, but unfortunately it’s no longer masked–so the whole row of thumbnails floats off to the side. Basically, I’ve got additonal material on other layers I want to bring foward beyond just the thumbnail\_mc – any ideas?

I’d post the compressed file here, but it’s too large.

actually, I just figured out my problem: just changed the duplicateMovieClip to createEmptyMovieClip for var con. for some reason duplicateMovieClip pushes the clip to the front of everything.

works fine with alpha if the pictures are not to big -
but the bigger the heavyer and harder to handle, is there an
alternative to this?
read somewhere about [SIZE=-1] **setBrightOffset** = **function** ( **offset** ) {

should be less heavy - and maybe achieve some nice colourburn,

thanx - unique forum by the way.
