i keep getting this error:

Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error

when i try to trace my xml code.

```auto
var xml:XML;
var xmlList:XMLList;
var xmlLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
xmlLoader.load(new URLRequest("myXMLgallery/myXML.xml"));
xmlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, xmlLoaded);
function xmlLoaded(event:Event):void
{
    xml = XML(event.target.data);
    xmlList = xml.children();
    trace(xmlList.length());
}
```

i’m almost certain it has to do with this:

```auto
xmlLoader.load(new URLRequest("myXMLgallery/myXML.xml"));
```

but i don’t know the proper syntax for how to tell it where your xml file is
the files are on my computer in my documents in a folder called myXMLgallery which is inside of a folder called myFlashProjects. so if someone could tell me how to properly write the urlrequest i’m certain that that would fix my problem.

and when i create xml files do i need to name them with the .xml file extension if i am already saving them as xml files anyway?

thanks
