# XML menu button customization

Hi, I am using the XML drop-down menu shown in this tutorial [[http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/xml\_dropdown\_menu.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/xml_dropdown_menu.htm) ] here on [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com), but I have been having trouble figuring out a way to associate the main menu buttons (those that are always visible) with a different MC than the flyout buttons. Has anyone tried this, or does anyone have the time to look over the code in that tutorial to see if they can figure out how to do it. I’m several hours into it with no success thus far. Thanks.
