# XML + PHP + Flash = "Unable to Read"

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here may be able to give me some hints towards solving this problem.

Essentially, I’m developing an RSS/XML reader and I can’t move past the stage where the online .swf accesses a local .php script which then redirects to an .xml file.

I know about the whole “sandbox” problem - hence the .php file, and for the record it does work on my PC, and the .php file redirects correctly, but the online version won’t co-operate.

Here’s the questions:

1. Has anyone else had this problem with something similar? And solved it?
2. Would this be a problem with my choice of web host?
3. Is there a special AS function which has eluded me?
4. Is there a special PHP function which has eluded me?
