# XML SlideShow image transition?

Is there a way to modify the [Kirupa XML Slideshow](http://http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_slideshow.htm) to have a different transition instead of just fades in between images. Maybe something like an animated mask transition or something a little more visually appealing then just a simple fade.

Im not necessarily looking for a specific transition, just the way to accomplish adding one to the slideshow.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
