# XML Ticker: an extra text field

Hi there,

I’ve just took the K-tutorial “News Ticker” for a spin and everything worked fine. ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/newsticker2.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/newsticker2.htm))

I have only one problem: I want to add an extra text field called “time”.  
This extra field is been extracted from the XML file:

\<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“utf-8” standalone=“yes”?\>  
\<images\>  
\<item\>  
\<news\>Eat more Spam\</news\>  
**\<time\>19:20 2006\</time\>**  
\<url\>[http://www.kirupa.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4)\</url\>  
\</item\>

This extra field has to show up in the flash file in a new dynamic textbox like the first textbox does.

Can anyone help me with this functionality?  
I’ve tried digging up these info in the forum archives, but I didn’t manage it to find it.
