# XML Vs. RSS

I’m confused about the two. Are XML and RSS feeds the same thing? If not, what’s the difference?

I’m using a program to code my RSS feeds now. Are they same thing as XML feeds?

Please explain and please point me to downloadable program that I can use to create XML feeds (assuming they are different).
