ok i gots me some good questions… lookin for good answer… where can i register a domain name for really cheap? doesnt have to be .com but it would be nice… and what about the hosting place… where is a cheap place for that… wow i suck at wording questions… but yeah basically [cheap website] there ya go ---

If someone already has it then they have full ownership over it. You can get it if their domain registration expires. ---

good question, I honestly don’t know. I doubt it’s illegal because why would they let you register for a .net if a .com is already taken, but don’t take my word for it. :-\ ---

You can’t really copyright a site name… Yeah sure… You can say… well [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) is the only one ALLOWED… But someone can come along and say [kirupa.net](http://kirupa.net) and as long as he doesn’t copy any graphics… He isn’t in violation of the copyright law… Pictures that you create… Slogans… And Actual companies can be copyrighted… or ideas can be patented… But copyrighting a name… Would have to be pretty weird… I wouldn’t copyright Mental Concepts until it became an actual company… I’d just check the site… And make sure it isn’t a company… Later On ---

the site isnt even there and i guess there thing expires in may and they havent updated since 2001 so im not all that worried about it… i think im just gonna save up some cash and get the .net one… so i might as well start makin a site and decide what i want it for… eh? ---

well what some people do is that they register a bunch of domain names that they think will be popular and sell it to the highest bider. You can actually make some pretty good extra money selling domain names. ---
