# Yet another attachSound issue

Ok, looked around and didn’t see this exact problem posted, and I’ve been hammering away at this for a couple days now. I’m loading sounds embedded in external .swf files (ideally I’d like to have preloaders in them, but I can deal with that later), and I’d like to control their properties from the main stage.\r\rI’ve seen various ways to do this, but none seems to work for me so far. If I attach the sound within the loaded .swf, I still can’t seem to call it from the root level, using whatever method. Appreciate any input.
