# Yo! How do they do this? Big Sounds!

Anyone have any idea how they use such big sounds…
Yet keep the download from taking forever??

I need to do something just like this…
But I did not want to use a whole mp3 song in a movie…
But I see these guys are using huge sounds and it does not take to long to download…
Any tips?

Well I would imagine they are streaming it which is what you are supposed to do with flash but no one ever does.
They may have a whole 3mb Mp3.
They just have a preloader that waits till enough of the Mp3 is buffered.
It starts playing while the rest of it is still downloading.
As long as you buffer enough, depending on a users conection they wont get any pauses.

so when I import my sound…
in the properties I just choose streaming…
I always thought there was more to it than that…
will see what I can do… thanks
