Zoom and Alternate Views

I am sure you all have seen this: Under the thumbnail pic, you can click to view the product in GREAT detail and some even provide “alternate views.” My question is how do you make this “Zoom In”, “Zoom Out” and “Reset” effect?? Here is an example I found (I hope the link is good):
