Hi, This is just a very quick note as I like to join in and I think it helps if you have some context I am a retired Senior Civil Engineer, re-inventing myself as a Web Designer/Developer. I hope you like my web site. It was infulenced a great deal by you and your videos, which I love. It was watching one of them from my hospital bed that inspired me to my current indevours with javascript.
I had to retire early due to ill health a a very close shave with death. Well I was technically dead in 2013 they were about to turn the machines off that day when I suddenly came round as my wife was about to leave for the last time…
I had been doing web design as a hobby/interest. for sometime but really started to study javascript from my hospital bed. This has now become a passion of mine which seams to fill most of my waking hours. I go on frequent sabaticals covering web tech subjects and now have a little business ‘kind of’ doing this sort of thing. I am studying SVG at the moment. As an Engineer I used Auto Cad by Autodesk and 3Dstudio, another passion of mine (except I have not got studio running and a bit to involved in programming and development for now).
