[04] window area / swf 100% x 100%?

is there anyway, in actionscript(2) or via javascript to find out the area of a window. What I am trying to do is make a movie 100% width and height and have, like, a scrollbar on the far right, but how do I do it without stretching or distorting the movie. 'cos I need to take into account that folk are likly to have various screens res but also, aditional toolbars in the browser which may change the area of the window? get my drift ?:pa:
