I am in the process of constructing for site for myself , i decided to use the media playback component of 2004FlashPro to stream in some flv files and use it’s haloish theme, so I would like to use the progress bar component in the halo theme to visually match things up throughout the site. I can’t get how to use the progress bar component to work as a visual and as a preloader. Does this need to be used with the loader component only?
Previously I used the IntroFlash Component Preloader Component available from the exchange, and after the timeline loaded, it would advance to the next frame.
I have got it to function (progressbar and loader components) with both on the same frame when loading a jpg for example, but the progress bar remains there which is visually distracting.
I believe I may need to have some actionscript that sets up a variable from progress bar percent complete to advance to the next frame?
Also if the progress bar is not used in conjunction with the laoder component, how does it look at something else.
there seems to be a lot of thread on this type of thing, can’t quite get them to fit properly, or maybe I’m loking at the wrong ones.
any help much appreciated.
