I’m an extremely experienced programmer with experience in all aspects of IT (infrastructure, operations and application development). Usually I work on long contracts (6+ months) for large companies in the financial sector doing application development on mainframes. Currently I do contract work for IBM.
But since I enjoy working with Internet technologies and graphics programming I’m interested in heavy duty Flash, PHP, Java, MySQL, XML projects. If you need to integrate your web frontend with existing legacy applications, I can also help with that.
I’ve been working freelance for the past 7 years and have a reputation as a technically very competent and socially very pleasant person. I’m used to working under tight deadlines and delivering my things on time.

My ‘business site’. I don’t use this to reach my current customers and it isn’t finished. The rotating icosahedron has been programmed from scratch in Flash actionscript with all sorts of 3D things (backface culling and shading to name a few). PHP, MySQL, Flash, XML.

My photography site. Programmed in Perl, PHP, MySQL.
All the sites run on my own Linux server which has been running 24/7 for over a year now. No downtime whatsoever. Since it’s located at a server farm with emergency power, it was even kept running through the worst power failure in Denmark in 30 years.
Having access to a server allows me to develop sophisticated solutions. For instance having the system process incoming emails automatically.
And I can also host any solutions I develop for you.
I’m 39 years old. I’m located in Copenhagen, Denmark. I’m willing to travel. I speak english quite well. Besides my education in IT, I also have an education in economics and IT from Copenhagen Business College which is at about the same level as a bachelor degree.
Of course all this comes at price. My hourly rates are not low. But in the long run the speedy development and the solid code I deliver results in lower TCO for you.
