Hi everyone,
I have done a little reading here, and other places about items like Sandy 3d for 3d effects. However, I guess it is just over my head and I can’t seem to make any sense of it.
I need help on a really simple effect, or at least I thought it was simple. Basically, I have an image that I want to lay flat, and then rotate it until it is upright, and no controls or anything like that. Just call the function and it rotates until it is done. So if you were looking at it, the bottom edge “_” and rotates to “[]” where the face of the object is the image.
Now this brings on two questions. From what I have read, and this is probably just me being a noob, is it uses Bitmap data for the distortion. The images I’m going to use have transparent parts to them…will that be altered by this process? Secondly, could any one provide either some code, or a link to a decent tutorial that describes something like this? I have tried the basic tutorials but they really don’t aim much at what I am trying to do or I’m just overlooking something. For example, I looked at the post here about the image flip by nathan (itunes thing), but looking at the source I’m lost to how it is done.
Anyway, any assistance would be greatly helpful.
Thanks.
