What is the best program for making 3d objects for flash. Thanks. Swift 3d?
I like the rendering capabilities of Swift 3D; Discreet Plasma, on the other hand, is way more powerful for modeling. 
i prefer swift 3d MAX, no need to learn a new 3d program. its so good i even use it for non-flash projects
but ive never heard of discreet plasma, what is that?
well most of the new versions of 3d appz have the ability now to export to swf files, Maya 5 has this option using the Ravix technology 3, and Discreets 3D Studio Max 6 supports this new feature as well so i dont think theres a need for using swift 3d anymore, although it is much simpler and cheaper, if you cant afford a real 3D appt. then swift 3D is for you :thumb:
even C4D has a flash renderer…
If you ugrade to MX 2004, Swift is out now as a plug-in for that, makes your objects 3D right outta Flash!
