Hello everyone. My name is Roman, and I’m with a technical recruiting firm called Superior Technical Resources (www.superior-sdc.com / www.superiorjobs.com).
We’re a large firm based out of Buffalo, NY and I work out of STR’s Phoenix office. One of our clients (local to Phoenix) is seeking a Flash Architect for a 6-12 week project (as well as a possible 9 month contract thereafter, pending budget approval).
NOTE: This project can be completed remotely (it is not necessary to be in Arizona)
What you’ll be doing on this project:
Working on importing a PDF file into a Flex application and maintaining an open communication of data passing from the PDF to a remote SQL server database. The PDF must be able to send a message to the hosting Flex application each time its controls are accessed.
I understand that this project will encounter some initial resistance and hear that you can hot PDF’s in AIR, but not Flex…our client is sure there’s a way! The PDF must be a fully functional Smart PDF (not just a PDF converted to a SWF that is partially functional).
