to make a long story even longer…
i got me a new computer, i installed xp with sp2, i installed all of the apps i needed to work, i installed flash mx 2004 (7.0), and then a friend recommended i installed the update to 7.2 , i did…
and now i get this error message…
“The following error message occurs: Failed running MLM process. Maybe MLM
activationlog.txt has more info”
and of course, the afore mentioned file does not exist, and i cant uninstall flash now …
i found a couple of hot fixes on the macromedia site, but those did not work either.
:upset: so, i manually removed the folder where flash was installed, cleaned up the registry, and procedeed to install flash mx 2004 again …
only that this time, the whole “installation” takes 3 seconds, and wouldnt you know???, the installer does not copy any files to the computer…
so basically, if i want to get any work done today i have to use some other computer to downgrade my fla´s and i dont want to do that…
ideas ?
