ok, this is a doubt I’m having on a doubt I’m having. sounds stupid, but that’s what it is, really. i don’t even know if this is the proper forum to post this under, but whatever.
i’m developing a RIA and i want the user to have the possibility to maximize the flash content to the whole browser size and then the possibility to bring it back to where he was.
breaking it down: the user comes across my flash content in an ordinary html page (whatever) and he goes to use the app; on his own accord or automatically (haven’t really figured that out) the application will stretch to fit the whole browser window (like, say, lightbox); but this doesn’t lead him to another page somewhere in outer space, the page sits there, on the back of it all, and when he closes the flash app he’ll be brought back safely to where he was.
now… i have no idea how to search for this. all i get is ways to fit flash to the browser window right from the start, like sites and stuff, ways to maximize the browser window to screen size, but i can’t figure out how to “maximize flash to browser and back again”.
could you help me out on this?
