I’m fairly new at Flash and I was wondering why the scrollbar has been taken out of the new 2004 MX version. I was also wondering how I could find it or something like it so I can make a text scroller like the tutorial for MX.
Another question of mine is being able to create each page in a text box and linking it so it would open in that same text box. I know I sound a bit confusing so let me elaborate on this. I still need to learn how to do it on my own though.
Check out the web site I’ve been working on http://www.proceedapathy.com/index2.php (click image to see flash). I know the text box works but the only way I was able to do this was download the actaul .fla from this site and resize the scrollbar.
In the upper left corner where the text box/scroller is I want to be able to have each page directed there. What would be the easiest way to do this? I want for example Service, News, and Contact to be buttons where the pink area is and every time you click on either of those buttons the page shows up in that black area of the box. If I still am not making much sense let me know otherwise any help would be great.
