A good video on event bubbling... but

I stumbled upon this video.
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/videotraining/xml/vid08.html

It’s actually for Flex, but can be applied just as well to ActionScript.

About half way through, it describes how and why events bubble and the difference between “target” and “currentTarget”.

The video is quite dry, and not really beginner friendly. They definitely could have done a better job.

I’m not sure why I had to bring this opinion out in public. Perhaps I’m hoping that someone else will get inspired and do a better job at explaining bubbling. Or perhaps I’m hoping beginners will stumble upon this, and although being bored, they might learn. Or perhaps my posts are secretly funded by Adobe, and I’m getting paid to advertise their links. Or perhaps I’m just bored. The world may never know.
