I am currently trying to make a fullScreen flash site with scalable images, I am using this tutorial http://www.remixtechnology.com/view/full-screen-flash-site-tutorial … but now I’m not sure if it’ll give me what I need.
I want to do a photography website, I want the images to take up the entire screen so when the browser is scaled smaller or larger the image corresponds to it. And in typical fashion I also want the nav/menu bar to stay a specific size. The most perfect example of what I am trying to accomplish is: http://www.brook-pifer.com/
when you scale the browser this site scales the portfolio images so nicely. Have you ever been to an HTML site where the developer took a large image and scaled it down using coding and it looked kinda weird, well I’ve seen it happen in flash as well and it doesn’t happen on this site. You can even scale it larger and it doesn’t blur out (to a certain extent).
I just want to know if the tutorial I’m using will accomplish this. If someone could add some extra advice that would be wonderful as well. In all my searches, this question comes up a lot but the person asking is so lazy they don’t give enough information for anyone to help. So I’m hoping to change that with my posting.
