I need some help with a silly masking problem.

I am making a header/menu, i thought lets make a “cool” intro of how to menu comes to gether :).
I made a intro movie clip where all the movement is going in.
In the mc i need to mask sompthing, masking text isent hard.
make layer called text type sompthing > make layour called mask (below text) > make a graphic and motion tween it from right to left > press mask on the text layer.
I know that, but for somereason that dosent work in graphics 
or im doing it wrong…
So if anyone can look into the intro movie clip (it can be found in the folder Opening intro) and look at the mask and whats wrong with it, it would be a great help :).
