Action Script Advice?

Hi guys.

I’m just in the process of designing a point n click adventure game.
(Example: http://www.y8.com/games/Nightmares_T...ones_Complaint)

I’m ok doing the design and the standard animation.

But, I’m not to sure how to do:

  • Picking up items
  • displaying them in the inventory
  • then using them on other items.

Do you know where I can find information on this, or what I need to look in to achieve this?

I know a bit about ActionScript, but i’m not to sure where I need to start.
