basically i would like to make it look like a movieclip of a helicopter is flying around the scene and i would like to control the movement with the mouse.
heres some detail
elevate the camera angle to about 45 degrees from the horizon. so that the camera is above the scene but still pointing at the horizon.
put a small movieclip/ in the centre of the scene
With mousedown on the movieclip I would have control of the camera and could drag the camera around the scene by following the mouse pointer. on release the camera would continue on in a straight line.
the movie clip would remain central to the camera view but would tilt and move slightly in the direction it is being dragged, straightening up and centering on mouserelease. Ideally all actions would be smooth and fluid.
there would need to be some objects on the ground as in the clip above. not necasarily human figures just something simple to give the landscape some definition because in essence its just the objects moving that is giving the illusion of movement.
this is just a little experimental thing that im interested in developing. im not a big corporation or anything, just a misguided individual with an idea, no programming skills and a bit of spare cash. so if you would like to get involved please reply
thanx
