Hello all -
I’m very new to Flash, and hoping someone can give me guidance:
I created a simple photo gallery from the kirupa tutorial (the first, not the XML one), and all is working fine. I’ve got it set to rotate through my photos automatically – there’s no user interaction with this. What I’d like to do now is add animation over the slideshow to create an effect similar to the moving bars in this example:

I’ve tried simply adding new animated layers (with motion-tweening), but that seems to turn off the slide-show script (when I test it, I have my animated bars, but the photos no longer rotate through). Can someone tell me how best to go about this? Am I in the right direction?
