Adobe Atmosphere, 3D for the Web

CNet has a story about Adobe’s Atmosphere, Adobe’s response to 3D for the web. (Other popular 3D web pluggins include Macromedia’s Shockwave and [url=“http://www.anark.com/”]Anark)

The article reports that Adobe has released Atmosphere and that it is now available for $399 full/$99 educational. However, Adobe’s site still says Atmosphere is “Currently under development…” and is not yet available at Adobe’s store at the time of this posting. Nonetheless, there is a tryout version available on Adobes Tryouts page:

The player is also available now, free for download. The player is currently at version 1 and only works in Internet Explorer for Windows.
