Ads Advisor adds safety tools for Google Ads

Google is adding three agentic safety and policy features to Ads Advisor, aimed at making Google Ads accounts a bit safer to manage and less fiddly to work through.

This is nice in theory, but I’m always a little nervous when “agentic” tools start auto-suggesting policy fixes because it can turn into a game of whack-a-mole with perfectly legit ads. If it stays in “flag + explain + let me choose” mode instead of silently changing stuff, I’m into it.

The part that gets me is rollback and auditability — if Ads Advisor “fixes” something and your CPA spikes, you need a clean diff of what changed and a one-click revert, not a support ticket.
