Dear AI & Games Developers and Researchers,
We are delighted to announce our 3rd and final AI & Games Networking Event. This will provide great opportunities for starting and continuing collaborations between games industry professionals and academic AI researchers.
The event will take place at the Dana Centre (part of the Science Museum) in South Kensington, London, on Friday 17th September 2010. The event is free and the Network can cover reasonable travel costs for the day within the UK.
The 2008 and 2009 events were great successes that resulted in research opportunities between academics and businesses from the sector. This year’s programme will include keynote speakers from academia and industry, open-mic sessions, round table and panel discussions, with plenty of time for one-to-one discussions.
One of the aims of the day will be discuss the future of AI in games in UK research and industry, and to plot out a road map for key future research directions.
Please register NOW if you would like to attend, as space is limited and the event is not far away. To register and view further details, please see the event page: http://www.aigamesnetwork.org/main:e...rdnetworkevent
This will be the last event run during the current phase of the AI & Games Network. We hope that you will join us to give the Network a good send-off!
Regards,
Cameron Browne, Simon Colton, Simon Lucas and Peter Cowling
