i’m working on a complex system at work but managed to get cross-domain loading, and script control, of a parent swf to literally hundreds of child swfs. the thing is, i’m stuck with an issue… occasionally, completely at random, a child swf will refuse to be controlled by the parent. that same child swf will have worked before and will work again but sometimes just won’t. it won’t even be the same child swf that refuses to be controlled every time, it varies throughout the 200 child swfs.
this is for a proffessional online training organisation and if it doesn’t just work first time everytime, it’s going to cause tech support calls to come in like crazy.
has anyone seen this sort of issue before? can anyone of you kind people shed some light on what might be happening with these little rebelious swfs?
one important point: i’m talking only about as2 swfs. i know there’s a lot of changes and ways to work around this in as3 but they won’t help.
