I’m just creating a devastatingly simple intro to a website (see attached) and want to create the overstate of the ‘enter’ button as a fade in/out. I’ve created a graphic symbol of text ‘enter’, then created another movie symbol ‘enterpulse’ which contains the enter graphic symbol - here’s where the fade in/out takes place and then finally inserted it in the up state of the button. I can get the movie to work with motion but not fades.
This is one of the things about flash that irritates me is where a problem can occur and there’s no obvious solution. I don’t use it enough to warrent spending the time to learn it, though so I suppose I’m part of the problem…
