You can find his other weather-related ones on his dribbble page. There is something really nice about the contrast between the clean/minimal information on the left and the colorful/animated visualization of the current weather on the right.
If you didn’t live near a beach, would there be a more appropriate image? Would all of the cinemagraph-esque videos be cached on-device?
The weight of the month text would look weird for months shorter/longer than August.
I like the concept, but now the still silhouette is starting to look creepy.
