I’m messing around with a concept for a web interface that I’m designing. What I want to have done is have strand of DNA corkscrew from one corner of the page to the other while getting closer to the screen.
Here is an example of what I want done set over the background of the webpage. Now obviously the proportions are blasted to hell and are no where close to the ‘real thing’ but you can get an idea of how to get it done.

My question, simple, HOW do I do this? I know enough flash to get me by, but I’m no genius at actionscripting and I’d reckon this would take more than just a little actionscript to get done anyway. What do I have to download to animate this? The DNA strand is in the background of the website. What it will do is when the site loads, the DNA spirals out from the back in the top left hand corner to the front in the middle right side. After that, I’ll have the interface appear and then we all set to go.
BTW, the webpage is called Dynamic Network Animation, hence the DNA strand.
Any help is appreciated.
