Flashkit.com has things called Flashtraks, they are animated equilizers that move with the beat of the song, you can even download different types.
can you use them just as visuals that dont animate to music?

Well lol, I am not a big fan of flashkit, but I will mention them again… you can check their open source movies section, they have thousands, run a search you might find out :-\
