Hi there, I am new to this site so hope I will enjoy my stay =)
I decided to sort of specialise in Flash and I came upon this problem (I’m still a beginner in Flash).
I want to make a line draw itself.
So an example would be, imagine a dot on the page, then, as it starts moving in a straight/curve line, it leaves a trail and looks like it is drawing itself. I don’t mean of course using your mouse. Like say I want the word “Flash” to appear in the start of my Flash movies. The screen would be white and the word Flash starts to appear and it looks like an invisible pencil is writing it out. I hope this explanation is understandable.
I tried using Masks and “censors” that slowly reveal the finished picture. But I soon came to details where these two methods just isn’t smooth enough.
