Animation in actionscript

i don’t really understand how to make a animation in actionscript…
eg: how to make rotation animation or moving object from one point to another point…
how ecxactly to do that?
can someone explain it to me…plss

i’ve checked the tutorial but i still understand the code.
maybe if someone can explain me how to make a simpler animation then i can relate to the random motion on the tutorial…
