Another Question about the "photo gallery" tutorial

I did the photo gallery and everything seems to work alright…except that when I preview it, the images don’t apear where they should be. They are off to the right hand side and down a little bit. They don’t appear in the same position as the rectangle that I drew in step 2.

Any idea’s on what I did wrong and how I can fix it?

The upper right hand corner of your picture attaches to the location of the registration point.

  1. You can offset your movie clip (move it to a new location)

  2. You can recreate your symbol, but when you are in the panel where you can choose to make it a movie clip symbol there is a box with 9 squares in it. Select the upper left square and hit ok. Your registration point should now be in the corner and your images in the right spot.

I’m not sure what you mean by “don’t cross post the same thread in different areas of the forum”. I only posted one thread asking about how to fix where the images appear. I did post another question asking if it was possible to make the images thumbnails that people could click to see a bigger version of it…Am I not allowed to ask 2 different questions about the same tutorial? I notice that thread seems to have disapeared???

Oh that is my fault. Both your of threads had the same title so I deleted the one I didn’t reply to. I should have read it first, but I assumed it was the same since it had the same title.

I am sorry for that.
