hi, i am wondering if any one could point me in the right direction(tutes or sites)
on a simple but effective way of getting my ant to navigate through tunnels to specific points heres a pic of what it looks like so far.(gotta do better bulidings and ppl) http://users.on.net/~pagalo/paul/misc/misc19.jpg
i was thinking A* but it looks way to complicated for me, as i have only been around flash for a year.
heres the run down of each ant: worker needs to dig tunnels and collect ppl, for food.(so u put worker ant at the start of where u want ur tunnel, then click in the sand with the dig tool, anywhere then it’ll dig to that point. and for food u click a person on the surface and it walks to it gets it and takes back to food chamber.)
soldier and queen navigate to where user clicks, difference is that queens tools are producing more ants and the soldier is attacking a enemy in a given range.
