Hey Kirupians,
I’d like to animate a silhouette doing a loopable action (like running, for example) and play this animation while my site is loading (as the preloading animation along with a percentage).
I’m sure you’ve seen what I’m talking about but if not, here’s a good example:
http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/style_and_design/flash_files/animations/838936_faster_than_the_competition.php?id=838936
The only way I can think of doing this is to take a jpeg sequence from a live video, drop each image in Flash, then trace each frame of the person/animal/thing that I want to animate. Obviously, this is seriously tedious.
Eventually, this would be a keyframe animation which might create an animation too large to use as a preloader animation… but I’ve seen this done on other sites! What’s the trick?
Does anyone have any tips on doing something like this? Any other methods?
thanks!
