yes a DJ is a musician…it of course depends on which meaning of DJ you want to go with…a radio DJ? no. now if you look at programs such as Reason and Fruityloops which allow you to program and orchestrate entire symphonies if you wanted…then yes - you are creating original music from scratch… after all how do you think all those trance/techno songs are made, and most R&B? and combine that with turn tables, beat matching, pitch shifting - having to turn the record at precise moments, knowing watts and all kinds of things.

Piano! I haven’t played in a few years though. I kinda wish I learned to play an instrument that is easily portable such as a violin or something

i’ve been playing piano for 8 years, and started guitar about a month or two ago.
guitar, about 6 years maybe. Know very simple keyboard and piano stuff, and bass, that’s sorta like guitar. I am working on compiling a cd of my recordings. Maybe I’ll link something sometime… if your really interested (and I know and like you) I will share, but I doubt you’re really interested.

Yea, “Jibbers” is my little brother (well, maybe big brother. He’s 270 lbs and taller than me, he’s 16, I’m 10 days away from being 20). He can play some meeeaaaan bass though. Probobly the best I know. I’m a drummer, but I’m not obsessed. I’m better than your average “yea I play drums” drummer, but nothing crazy like Mike Portony(sp) or anything.
