Anyone here use godaddy for hosting and know how to load a mysql database?

i can’t figure out how to transfer my database from previous hosting company where I was using cpanel (very easy to use) to godaddy’s. only option in godaddy’s is to create a db none for uploading one… I contacted godaddy and they said to upload it to the phpupload folder and after 24-48hrs it will work… sounds fishy…
