this has been frustrating me for a while now… when I have actionscript in a one frame timeline it behaves unpredictably… or no, it behaves predictable in that it doesnt listen to what I’m telling it to do… for example, if I simply want an mc, with a stop function in it’s first frame, to play… I figure I’ll just type my_mc.play(); right?? after all it works everywhere else on a timeline… but no- if you enter that script on the first frame of a one frame timeline it’s like flash ignores it… the mc simply doesnt play… I’ve even tried variations like my_mc.gotoAndPlay(“startMovie”); using frame labels… and that worked in some single frame timelines but not in others- argh! gimme somthin to break lol
