I’m not sayin that John Mayer isn’t good, but I just don’t like his music much. I think DMB is better though - he’s got an awesome band, but again, not really my type of music.
I listen to him occaisonally, but only when i’m in a mellow type mood, like early morning. I usually listen to harder rock type stuff that can get your blood flowing.

I actually used to be a huge mayer fan. I’ve seen him probably 5 or 6 times before he sold out. He used to play at Amos’ in charlotte and there would be like 10 ppl in there and all we were doing is getting hammered and there was no band, just him and a guy that would play the tambourine as a joke. This was in like 98 though before all the 14 yr old girls started worshipping him. Now I can’t bring myself to go to the shows since you have to pay more than $8 ;). And if you do listen, check out the old stuff like comfortable and love soon that came off of inside wants out.
Oh, I have all that stuff… dont’ worry. the only thing that I don’t have is the Any Given Thursday DVD, but that will change soon.
The reason I mentioned this whole thing is because the new John Mayer song just came out - Bigger than my Body - it’s awesome.
My friend said he was dragged to a JM concert and there were nothing but girls there. :-\

john mayer? you mean dave matthews jr? he’s ok, not my cup of tea really. actually a friend of mine is in the process of selling a guitar to him. anyway, i much prefer the likes of radiohead, bjork, or the fenetik. just my thing, i guess.
