Applying gradients to symbols

i need to add a gradient effect to a symbol…

would i be better off doing this in fireworks, and then dragging the file into flash…

or is it more efficient to just apply the effect in flash… (although i seem to have less control over the effect)

It depends on what the object is and how you’re trying to fill it… Can you describe it please? :slight_smile:

:m: you can’t you must add a gradient on something like an oval or anything you want to apply it on before you turn it into a symbol i hope this coment is useful:skull:
