.as file - Check Syntax - AS1 though?

Hi all,

I’m editing .as files in the Flash editor. I usually use CTRL+T to Check the syntax of the coding.

In Flash 8 however, it checks the syntax against AS2, when you’re editing an .as file.

If you’re editing a Flash file it’ll check the syntax against whatever publish settings you have, but that doesn’t seem to apply to .as files.

Any ideas?
