AS2: Add comma to a value

Hi again all!
Real simple question;
How would I code in AS2 to add commas to a value in [COLOR=Gray]myText[/COLOR][COLOR=Blue].text[/COLOR] which recieves input from xml?
Say if the value is 1000000, I want it to say 1.000.000.
