I want to put a little notification icon in my flash animation that displays if I am online or not, with also the ability for a user to maybe click the icon and engage in a MSN Messenger discussion with me. Has anyone seen this done in Flash?

Intresting, so thats how to do it in HTML. If only I knew enough about ActionScript to make that work in Flash
If microsoft provides a http service to that then flash can do it… plus you can always have flash helped by php or other backend scripts

True, but your assumeing I know enough about any form of programming to do that. I’m a graphic designer, I make prettty pitcures… you might as well be asking me to write a poem in Chinese to write code in ActionScript. :crying:
